An attorney on Twitter clapped back at an account closely linked to Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) that suggested Tuesday’s shattering testimony before the House select committee investigating the US Capitol riot was “all hearsay.”

The House Judiciary Committee Republicans’ account which names Jordan as its ranking member in its Twitter bio labeled the astonishing testimony from former White House aide Cassidy Hutchinson as hearsay.

“It’s literally all hearsay evidence. What a joke,” the post on the GOP account said of Hutchinson’s testimony about Donald Trump’s last days as president.

Business Insider corrects story claiming mass migration out of Florida after backlash: ‘We got it wrong’

Business Insider had to admit it was wrong Tuesday after it published a story that said more people left Florida than New York and California in 2021.

Business Insider published an article titled “More people actually moved out of Florida than New York or California in 2021.” According to the article, 674,740 residents left the state, overtaking 433,402 residents leaving California and 287,249 residents moving from New York.

However, after examining census data on Florida, many Twitter users, including members of Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis’ team, pointed out that Business Insider mistakenly switched the numbers.

Realtor may have accepted M offer for Washington, DC property linked to Sam Bankman-Fried

An unidentified buyer or buyer could soon own a property previously linked to defunct cryptocurrency exchange FTX and its former CEO, Sam Bankman-Fried, in Washington, DC’s Capitol Hill neighborhood.

According to an updated posting on Realtor.com, the DC property was listed as “contingent,” suggesting that the party handling the deal has accepted an offer but the transaction was not yet finalized. The townhouse located near the United States Capitol building was reportedly owned by Guarding Against Pandemics, a nonprofit organization established by Gabriel Bankman-Fried, brother of the former FTX CEO.
