For years, priced-out homebuyers sat on the sidelines, praying for a market reversal to bring housing costs down from the heavens.

Next year, their prayers might be answered – sort of.

Home prices and sales both are projected to drop in 2023, according to a new California Association of Realtors forecast released today.

However, prices will still remain relatively high, and for those using a mortgage, homes will be even less affordable in 2023 than this year thanks to rising interest rates.

First, it’s important to understand what a doctor or physician mortgage loan is. This is a mortgage loan you can get that allows you to buy a house with less than 20% down and NOT PAY Private Mortgage Insurance (PMI). Remember, PMI is that insurance that you pay to protect your lender from you defaulting on your mortgage. It’s a nice benefit to not have to pay it.

In addition, these loans will generally only consider your required student loan payment (rather than your true debt-to-income ratio) so, if you are in an Income-Driven Repayment (IDR)

Business Insider corrects story claiming mass migration out of Florida after backlash: ‘We got it wrong’

Business Insider had to admit it was wrong Tuesday after it published a story that said more people left Florida than New York and California in 2021.

Business Insider published an article titled “More people actually moved out of Florida than New York or California in 2021.” According to the article, 674,740 residents left the state, overtaking 433,402 residents leaving California and 287,249 residents moving from New York.

However, after examining census data on Florida, many Twitter users, including members of Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis’ team, pointed out that Business Insider mistakenly switched the numbers.
