Whether self-proclaimed real estate “mogul” Donald Trump is actually the tycoon he proclaimed to be is up for debate. But according to a new report, people who have purchased apartments in Trump-developed condominiums haven’t done so well, at least not in the last few years when prices have skyrocketed.

A look by Realtor.com at transactions in the properties that carry the former president’s brand found the numbers to be decidedly underwhelming. BTB Real Estate Investment Trust (OTCMKTS:BTBIF) Short Interest Down 26.9% in April

BTB Real Estate Investment Trust (OTCMKTS:BTBIF – Get Rating) saw a large drop in short interest during the month of April. As of April 30th, there was short interest totaling 20,400 shares, a drop of 26.9% from the April 15th total of 27,900 shares. 62% of Buy to Let Landlords Report Increase in Tenant Demand

In the midst of the current economic climate, the demand for rental properties has seen a significant upsurge, the latest studies show.

A recent 2023 Landlord Report has seen 62.24% of buy-to-let landlords state they have experienced an increase in demand for their rental properties over the last 12 months.

The research comes courtesy of specialist property finance broker Finbri where an associate has highlighted how owing to the “continued instability of the mortgage market and the UK economy, rental property demand is rising. Due to prolonged uncertainty, first-time buyers are postponing entry into the market.”
