And right in South Carolina, according to a survey by Realtor.com, we have one of America’s most affordable travel destinations: Myrtle Beach.

A Mississippi Coast city was recently rated the most affordable beach town in the United States.

Gulfport topped Realtor.com’s 2023 list of the most affordable beach towns, beating out cities like Newport News, Virginia; Corpus Christi, Texas; and Navarre, Florida.

Realtor Tiffany Kirkland of Harper Realty has been selling homes across the Mississippi Coast for three years. She was not surprised by the distinction.

“I think it’s pretty awesome and pretty accurate,” she said. “There are always great deals around here.”

The Colorado Association of Realtors is holding its spring summit this week at the Four Seasons in Vail. Local broker Sara Hoodicoff will co-chair one of the meetings at the three-day event.

Hoodicoff, a broker with Coldwell Banker Distinctive Properties, will co-chair a discussion for the group’s Global Committee. Hoodicoff has sold property in three countries and has earned the designation of Certified International Property Specialist.
